In 2018, the tennis legend’s husband discussed his wife and daughter in an interview with Good Morning America. during that interview, he shared a very open take about how she is never threatened by the former world number one’s success. He also discussed his most romantic moment with the 23-time Grand Slam champion, which was the time she had just given birth, and had experienced postpartum health complications.

He said, “Taking care of her and our baby after they showed up and after all the trauma she went through post-childbirth. I think the most romantic thing I’ve ever done was just showing up and doing my job as a husband and a father. It’s sad the bar is that low, but I actually think it is. And with everyone’s sort of optimizing for an Instagram post. You know, missing out on the fundamentals, which is just being there.”
