To which Osaka replied, “I don’t want to put pressure on myself, but I do think I can win a slam this year. It’s a long season and I’ve beefed up my schedule with more tournaments to give myself more match play. I think that I’ll be in a great place come summer hard court swing.”

Naomi Osaka mentioned that when she gave birth, it was the most painful experience she had ever had. That experience made her realize that she can endure much more physically, especially on the court. So, she feels that there are many more Grand Slam titles waiting for her in the future.

Along with that, Osaka also revealed that she wants to make a powerful comeback for her daughter Shai. Osaka wants to show her daughter that nothing is impossible, and this ambition drives her to push harder. Osaka said, “And I don’t know I just Want to show Shai that she’s capable of everything. So, that’s one of main purposes and main reasons for why I wanna be back out here.”
