The father-daughter duo is spotted having quite some fun in a recent Instagram story by the former World’s No.1 Venus Williams. Richard spent a good amount of his younger days training Serena and Venus. It had been long since he was spotted anywhere due to his ailments.

Richard has been away for quite some time now since he got brain surgery. The man survived 3 strokes over the past few years. The 4-time Olympic gold medalist put up 2 fun-dipped pictures with her father on Instagram. 

Venus Williams spends quality time with father

Richard recently became a grandfather to Serena Williams’ second daughter Adira River. Therefore, it looks like Richard is riding the road of recovery pretty hard so that he can spend more time with his family. 

Venus made sure that the readers saw both the pictures. She only hinted at the first picture, which was a selfie of the two with a question, and then the second one with a few emojis. The first picture in the story was captioned: “How did this turn into…” while the second one ended the thrill with her making a goofy face and Richard looking at the ground. 

It’s amazing how Richard’s recovery is on a progressive note. The work he put into training his daughters is one of his greatest achievements. Therefore, it is evident that they have his back at times like these.

Richard Williams’ love for his daughters

With everything that Richard has done for his daughters, it is obvious that they are by his side, helping him find his way back. Will Smith did an amazing job portraying Richard Williams in his movie King Richard. However, credit must go to Richard for living a life that is majestic enough. The tennis legend showed great standards by spending more and more time with Richard lately. Richard turned 81 in February this year and seems to be in great shape while posing with daughter Venus. He also hasn’t lost his touch with humor and goofiness, it seems.
