Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Attend Rolling Stone Concert in London After Round 1 Exit at Wimbledon Championships 2022

Serena Williams is back to competing again on the WTA Tour after her memorable return to Wimbledon against Frenchwoman Harmony Tan last week. Williams made her comeback after a long absence of nearly a year.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has got to spend quality time with husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter Olympia in recent times.

The couple is spending some time in London after Williams exited in the first round for the second-consecutive year at Wimbledon. Ohanian meanwhile uploaded a photo with Williams at a Rolling Stones concert in Hyde Park. The caption read“50 years ago to the day my dad first saw @therollingstone at RFK (Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium).”

After a lengthy layoff, Williams returned to the Eastbourne International last month. She teamed up with World No. 2 Ons Jabeur ahead of her singles return. However, after two wins in a row, Jabeur pulled out from the doubles tournament due to injury.

Despite Serena losing at Wimbledon, her serve looked impeccable as ever. She also displayed glimpses of her past, narrowingly missing out the win. Now, she aims to play at her home Grand Slam – the US Open.

The 6-time US Open champion has been dominant at Flushing Meadows in the past. Coincidentally, Serena won her maiden Grand Slam title at the same tournament back in 1999. The American will assess her fitness levels ahead of returning next month for possibly the last time.
