The 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, is currently busy with her father’s biopic, King Richard’s launch. Amidst that, Williams responded to Naomi Osaka’s return to the WTA Tour. Despite being rivals on the tennis courts, Serena is pretty excited about her comeback.

In an interview, Williams said, “Oh my goodness. It’s gonna be amazing. I can’t wait.” From the comments, it’s evident that Williams shares good friendship with four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka.

Williams has been away from the professional sport since she suffered from a hamstring injury at the opening round of Wimbledon 2021. The seven-time Wimbledon champion was forced to retire from her match against Sasnovich.

Just recently, Williams confessed that she’s recovering well. Furthermore, she confidently announced good news about her participation at the Australian Open 2022.
