Yesterday, 5th April, the American took to her Instagram, uploading a fashion-centric post.

Serena goes all purple in her latest post

In the post, Serena sat on a chair, posing with a purple-shaded long sweater. Going by the tags, the Sweater was from the luxury fashion brand Balmain. She coupled the sweater with similar footwear, and some matching diamond jewelry. Going by the tags again, the jewelry opted by Serena was from her own jewelry line, Serena Williams Jewelry. The legendary player captioned the post, “I’m warning you, this is a purple week.”

The post went viral in no time, with the player receiving a massive amount of love from her fans and followers. However, it was not just her fan base who went gaga over her look in the post. The player also received a lot of love and warmth from her own team. Going by the comments, the player first received a heart from her own fashion line, S by Serena.

With Serena Williams wearing pieces from Serena Williams Jewelry, the American player also received love from her self owned Jewelry line. Taking to their Instagram, the jewelry firm commented on the post, saying, “Obsessed. We love our Diamond Curve earrings with this look.”

On the tennis front, Serena last played on the tour at the 2021 Wimbledon. Playing her first-round match, Serena slipped on the court, injuring her hamstring muscle.  The injury not forced Serena to withdraw from the tournament, but also forced her to pull out from the remaining season. However, 9 months have passed, but Serena is nowhere to be seen on the court currently.
