However, Ohanian knows when to take some time off for himself and to be a great parent to his daughter. He even shared some news that shed light on the number of men taking off from work to make sure they spend proper time helping their pregnant wives.

Ohanian is nothing shy of a proud parent. The businessman shares many moments he spends with his daughter on his social media while also ensuring to spend quality time with her.

Serena Williams’ husband takes frequent parental leaves

The status quo for parental leaves was that mostly women took leaves for their children. However, a recent statistic revealed that more men are taking parental leaves. The Wall Street Journal reported that the number of men taking parental leaves has increased by a staggering 183% in the past five years.

Ohanian shared the news on his official Twitter page and talked about the changes he has made on his own. He happily lauded the number and said that men are making great progress around the world. He also announced that it had been five years since he took his leave for Olympia and wrote his New York Times op-ed.

Ohanian said that even though men can’t carry a child, they have a significant role to play. Therefore, there should be more paternity leaves for men.
