As per the deadline, online streaming giant Netflix is planning to do its first live streaming of an event. It will be the live standup comedy show of Chris Rock. While the ideas seem to be innovative, Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian also gave his opinion on the matter.

“Smart move by @netflix making the @chrisrock live streamed standup special. Live events will be key to winning the attention war in streaming.”

Further, speaking about Rock’s show, Ohanian added, “I also saw Rock perform in Palm Springs and if it’s the same set, it’s hilarious.”

It will be interesting to see how the experiment turns out to be. If we believe what Ohanian claims, it will be a major success.

At the award function, something else happened that became the talking point. After Chris Rock made a distasteful joke about Smith’s wife he got furious and slapped Rock on screen.

While there were mixed reactions to the action, Alexis Ohanian rather enjoyed the full incident. The 39-year-old later came up with a tweet with popcorn emoji in it.
