Aside from his entrepreneurial projects, the co-founder of Reddit shares a passion for cryptocurrencies as he frequently participates in the highly volatile market.

Now, the American internet entrepreneur has taken his zeal for digital collectibles to the next level with his latest collaboration with a renowned blockchain technology company. Ohanian, who recently featured at the Met Gala alongside his tennis star wife, was sighted showcasing the exciting collaboration of Gucci and the multi-billion dollar NFT company.

The renowned fashion show held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art featured a slew of global icons including the American tennis legend Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian. During the Met Gala, the power couple was all dazzled up in their Gucci outfits as the former tennis ace donned her form-fitting black gown and elegantly matched it with her pearl necklaces and white headbands.

The entrepreneur, on the other hand, was all suited up in his tuxedo designed by the Italian fashion powerhouse. To further accentuate his sophisticated outfit, the Reddit co-founder pinned a pendant designed in collaboration with Gucci and, a $4 billion blockchain technology company, Yuga Labs.

According to a report from Decrypt, the Italian clothing brand previously announced their metaverse-oriented partnership with the NFT company while they launched an array of themed jewelry including the KodaPendant. The pendant adorned by Ohanian is an NFT that represents both a tangible item of jewelry and a nonfungible token. By donning that jewelry from Yuga Labs, the tech entrepreneur also showcased his ardent support for crypto and NFTs.

Ohanian previously demonstrated another customized NFT for his wife

The American entrepreneur is undoubtedly one of the most keen crypto participants as witnessed by his social media posts. In one of his previous Instagram posts, Ohanian showcased a customized NFT artwork of his tennis star wife and daughter. Serena and Oympia were spotted in ‘superwoman’ avatars that were designed by the American comics artist, Amanda Conner, for the tech entrepreneur’s NFT collaboration.
