Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, an avid sports fan, has invested in Angel City Football Club, which plays in the National Women’s Soccer League. The internet entrepreneur has also been regularly spotted in the players’ box during Serena’s matches on Tour.

Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, has also invested in a sports trading card platform Alt, which launched in 2021. However, he claimed a new addition to his digital vault with a famous acquisition.

The American took to Twitter to announce that he will be adding superstar footballer Lionel Messi to his vault collection. “It’s fun asking to the average American sports fan what they think about Messi — and then asking the average sports fan basically anywhere else in the world about him,” tweeted Ohanian. 

“This one likely stays in my @AltXYZofficial Vault forever-ever,” he added. Messi current plays for Paris St. Germain after spending 17 years in Barcelona. He has scored 681 goals and 317 assists in his career. Messi has also won the UEFA Champions League four times, while winning the Ballon d’Or a record 7 times.
