However, his recent strategies regarding his venture capitalist firm, 776, also showed his fierce and competitive side. The Reddit cofounder recently took to his social media to reveal his plans to send plenty of traditional, lean-back VCs into retirement.
Notably, some of the fans were surprised when they found out about the “ferociously competitive” plans of Ohanain. However, the American internet entrepreneur revealed that there is “nothing wrong” with his blunt and fierce business strategies.

The American internet entrepreneur took to his social media to share a glimpse of his venture capitalist firm, 776 leadership team offsite. Alexis Ohanian further talked about his plans and strategies regarding his capitalist firm.
He said, “Glimpse into 776 leadership team offsite. I told everyone I want our Third Year to be the year we start sending plenty of traditional, lean-back VCs into retirement. This is gonna be an intense year 😤 and we can’t wait. The new generation is hungry and ready to eat.”

Ohanian also revealed that his business strategies will be paving the path for the new generation stepping into the industry. Upon witnessing his social media post, some of the fans were surprised when they found out that Ohanian will be sending plenty of traditional, lean-back VCs into retirement.

Ohanian has plans to start another business
The American internet entrepreneur shared his plans to start a poncho business after getting inspired by his theme park adventures in Orlando. The Reddit cofounder and his family were recently spotted enjoying thrilling rides and other adventures at the Universal Theme Park in Orlando.
During the trip, Ohanian also rode a wet ride with his wife and daughter. However, he got drenched while enjoying the ride. Later he blamed the ponchos he was wearing for failing to protect him from getting wet. This adventure further inspired Ohanian to launch another entrepreneurial project of ponchos.
