Serena Williams’ Husband Shares Success of King Richard Film, Starring Will Smith, With Rotten Tomatoes’ Numbers

King Richard, the biopic on Venus and Serena Williams’ father, Richard Williams, has received enormous appreciation since its release. Besides, Will Smith, who played the father in this movie, has sparked the Oscar buzz with his performance. To highlight this, Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian took to Twitter to share the Rotten Tomatoes review meter and the numbers are solid.

Before the release, many ardent Williams sisters’ followers watched King Richard in private screenings. Naturally, they expressed their joy soon later on Twitter, leaving others excited.

Now, King Richard is out in the cinemas in the United States. It is also streaming on the OTT platform, HBO Max. 

Alexis Ohanian lauds wife Serena and Venus’ father’s biopic, King Richard

From fans to athletes to journalists, one and all got inspiration from the lives of Richard, Venus, and Serena Williams. As a result, all of their love turned into pleasant numbers on Rotten Tomatoes, an American review-aggregation website.

Accordingly, the Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian took on Twitter to share the numbers. He also wrote, “You all rock. #KingRichard”

Moreover, King Richard did not impact only tennis or sports fans but families across the world. Hence, the ones who haven’t gotten the opportunity will look forward to watching this film soon.

In essence, the biopic follows the life of Richard Williams, who, without any prior experience, got his both daughters to the global stage. At 41 and 40 years of age respectively, Venus and Serena still compete at the top level in women’s tennis.

And now that the movie is out, fans will turn their focus to their comeback next year. Most importantly, the entire tennis fraternity expects Serena’s long-awaited 24th Grand Slam title in 2022.

Will Serena Williams play the Australian Open 2022?

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the former World No.1 announced that she has recovered from her hamstring injury. In addition, Serena confirmed that she would be playing at the Australian Open next year.
