Serena Williams is one of the most prolific athletes of modern times, with 23 Grand Slams to her name. She is also one of the most decorated active players in the tennis circuit, having won 73 singles and 23 doubles titles. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian, not an athlete, but he is famous of his own accord.

Ohanian, is the co-founder of Reddit, and now works with a venture capital firm 776. Apart from being a successful ‘internet entrepreneur’ he is also one of the most ardent supporter of his wife’s career. But, by his own admission, he is a sports enthusiast, who keeps flaunting his elaborate sports cards collection.

Alexis Ohanian has Kobe’s card in his collection

Ohanian often posts pictures or stories about his collection. Recently he made a post about it on Instagram and showed off his trading card of yet another legend. Kobe Bryant, the legendary shooting guard, who played his entire career for the Lakers, was also a sporting prodigy. He has to his name five NBA championships, was an 18-time All_star, and a 15-time member of the All-NBA Team. He, unfortunately, had an untimely demise, in a helicopter crash, along with his daughter Gianna and 7 others in 2020.

Ohanian showed off a card featuring a 19-year-old Kobe Bryant after he won his first title. “My Twitter squad likes when I post shots from my collection… But does IG? I’ve got looooooads more where this came from 🙏 Kobe’s first game cover and the youngest player ever to get a title (he was just 19!),” he captioned the post.

Ohanian is an ardent follower of tennis and soccer but it also seems that basketball also usurps some of his heart.
