Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian hardly fails to make other parents envious with his thoughtful gestures. After starting his impressive papa-pancakes tradition, now he has introduced his eldest daughter, Olympia, to vintage gaming. While the father-daughter duo enjoys video games already, the latest gift from me is something special. Through this thoughtful act, Ohanian highlighted his and his wife Serena Williams’ desire for their children to experience the same fun they had during their childhood.

Ohanian revealed a special surprise for Olympia before Christmas. This Reddit co-founder is known for his intense affection for his daughters. In fact, his tradition of making pancakes for his elder daughter has stormed the internet presenting him as an ideal father. Now, Ohanian is back with another beautiful surprise, something that revealed the 90s kid in him.

Williams’ techie husband brought an old-school Tetris game for Olympia and shared its picture on X. “Here we go! Let’s see what @olympiaohanian thinks…” captioned Ohanian – expressing his curiosity about whether Olympia likes the game. Now, Ohanian’s seven-year-old is almost a prodigy in golfing. Her swings have already taken the internet on the roll – impressing her parents’ followers. 

Now, Olympia enjoys playing video games with her father. In a conversation with Jemele J.Hill, this Reddit co-founder revealed funnily that he is better than Olympia at video games. “Better than her at video games. Not that’s much of a skill but I’ll take it. Game of H.O.R.S.E, yeah her jump shot is terrible,” said Ohanian revealing how video games are also a part of their father-daughter bonding.

Not just Ohanian but video games have also been integral to Olympia’s mother Serena William’s upbringing. In an interview with People magazine, this Olympic gold-medalist player shared how she has been hooked to video games and still enjoys one or two as a part of her leisure.

In an interview with People magazine, the former WTA player said, “I always liked gaming when I was younger because it was really popular, This generation grew up with. The generation before didn’t have it, so [it was] just always part of my life, and I just kind of enjoyed that.” She also added how 2D classic games like Duck Hunt, Power Duck, and Metroid have been her all-time favorite. Williams also talked about her inclination toward Nintendo Switch. In this interview, Williams revealed that she wished to pass this interest to her children.

Serena Williams also loves the popular Zelda franchise with Animal Crossing games. She enjoys playing with her sister Venus. Together the legendary sisters enjoyed Tetris, Just Dance, and Mario Kart.
