When tennis courts were closed because of the pandemic, Williams got the inspiration to write the book. An African American doll who believes in herself and concentrates on one’s imagination while immersing themselves in the story served as the central character of the story. Aside from that, her daughter, who is five, has a keen interest in the novel and thinks she is the main character even though she is seven years old.
