Now, we all know Alexis Ohanian is an avid sports lover, but has he ever played any sport, though? In a previous interaction, Serena Williams’ husband revealed,My parents wouldn’t let me play football until high school, which is really what I wanted to play. So I finally played American football when I got to high school. I played basketball. I was not very good, Six foot five (inches), wasted height. I never played tennis, I am learning golf now, and I’m really loving it. Talking about taking golf lessons, well, he once claimed,I’m just trying to learn enough golf to keep up with my 7-year old 🏌️‍♂️.”

Talking about their love for golf, Alexis Ohanian once spoke about how Olympia’s natural talent on the course reminds him of Serena Williams’ unstoppable fire and competitive spirit. While highlighting her passion for the sport through a previous incident, he said,She totally whiffed on a ball, and once she got so upset, she pulled the club up and was about to smash it. I was like,Olympia…and she just casually put it down. I was like,Oh, you got that Serena [Williams] in you.Having seen that version of his little kid, he also wants to ensure she learns the value of failure, too. Because it’s exactly how countless hours of trying and failing and then practicing again led to success for Williams.

Now, since in this recent picture, Serena Williams was spotted holding a golf club in her hand, does she play golf regularly like her husband and daughter? In a previous interview with ESPN, she claimed,No, but I did hit last Sunday, and that counts (laughs). My daughter plays golf. One was playing, and one was rolling around on her back, I am not kidding. After seeing all these adorable moments of their golfing session, there shouldn’t be any question about the family’s love for this sport. Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian reveals the real motivation behind their LAGC investment

Well, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian became a part of the TGL in 2023. While sharing his thoughts about the exact reasons behind becoming an owner of the LAGC, Ohanian had previously said,My wife Serena [Williams] and I have enjoyed as Olympia’s taken a liking to golf, so I’m proud to announce that they’re both owners in this club as well — as is the little one!His ambition is to build another piece of legacyfor his family with this team.

Other than that, there was also a special reason that pushed him to become the first owner of this league. What’s it? “Part of my pitch for why I wanted to be the first owner in the league was because I wanted a women’s team. And so I’ve been bugging these guys for the LPGA deal for a minute. They’ve been very interested. It’s just, these things take time.” Later on, in one of his tweets, he explained how the league has now helped transform its dynamics.
