Over the course of their professional careers, Serena Williams and Venus Williams have achieved immensely. The Williams sisters have absolutely dominated women’s tennis for a long period. Just recently, Serena Williams shared an old photoshoot picture of her and Venus’. The sisters looked in great shape, as Serena desired to get back in shape.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has been suffering a Major slam drought since 2017. The 40-years old is struggling with her injury but hopes to make a comeback to the tour very soon.

Serena Williams wants her old body back

Serena Williams recently posted an exclusive picture of hers and Venus’ from probably 20 years ago. The publishing company, named ‘Essence’ first shared the picture. Williams put it on her Instagram profile with a caption, “ Dear God, Please give me this body back.” 

In the picture, both Serena and Venus Williams looked extremely graceful. Serena wore a gorgeous black dress, while Venus dolled up in a white dress. The company also highlighted the remarkable achievements of the Williams sisters. Among them, they earned 122 singles titles, 22 doubles titles, 8 gold medals, and career-high rankings of World No. 1.

As Serena shared the picture, it appears that the 40-years old is missing her perfect physique. For the last couple of years, Williams has been fighting with her injuries. She won her last Grand Slam title at the Australian Open 2017.

Serena to make her comeback

The former World No. 1 last competed professionally at Wimbledon 2021. The American faced a significant hamstring injury, later on, forced to retire. However, after a good rehabilitation period, Serena Williams has decided to make a notable comeback to the tennis court.
