Serena Williams is inarguably one of the pioneers of tennis. Earlier this month, the 41-year-old announced her retirement. She has won a record-breaking 23 Grand Slam titles during her stellar career.

Ever since she first started playing tennis, she wanted nothing more than to become a household name by making a name for herself. But now, her priorities have completely changed with her retiring from tennis. Earlier, she had posted a video where she was seen dancing in heels and enjoying her moves.

The former world No. 1 Serena Williams took to Instagram and posted a story. And to everyone’s joy, the American shared a video where she was seen dancing and enjoying her time. She had worn pencil heels and was seen raising her hands whilst dancing.

Talking about her career, Serena’s last match came against Ajla Tomljanovic at Arthur Ashe Stadium in the US Open 2022. The four-time Olympic gold medalist ended her professional tennis career in Round 3 by losing to the Australian with a score of 5-7, 7(4)-6, and 1-6. The match lasted more than three hours and lived up to its spectacular billing.

Change in Serena’s priorities post her daughter Olympia’s birth
Serena is the mother Olympia, who is now five years old. The 23-time Grand Slam winner experienced a mental and physical shift when she learned she was expecting a child. In one of her interviews, she said, “Since I’ve had my baby, the stakes of the game have shifted for me. I have 23 Grand Slam to my name, more than any other active player. But winning is now a desire and no longer a need.”

The ones who have competed against or trained with Serena have praised her drive to be the best in the game. However, things changed once Olympia was born. But even after having her daughter Olympia, Serena continued to play tennis and enjoyed spending time with Olympia.
