Fans across the globe are waiting for tennis icon Serena Williams to make a comeback on the WTA tour. After pulling out of the US Open last year, everyone thought Serena would make an announcement to participate in the 2022 Australian Open. But, that didn’t happen as Serena’s medical team didn’t find her to be completely fit to play the event.
As the wait continues, Serena manages to give fans updates on her off-court activities via Instagram. While most of them include her adorable daughter Olympia, tennis also becomes a part of her updates sometimes.

Serena Williams shares the story of Hanna’s journey to Mouratoglou Tennis Academy
Recently, Serena added coach Patrick Mouratoglou’s post of announcing a scholarship to an aspiring tennis enthusiast on her Instagram stories. Getting into the details, Mouratoglou Tennis Academy identified a talent and provided a huge opportunity for Hanna, to train at their academy for a year.
American actor Boris Kodjoe was present in a video shared by the French coach where the former was present alongside Hanna when Mouratoglou announced that she would be a part of his academy under scholarship for a year.
“I lived a very special moment with @hannadessie_ and my friend @boriskodjoe.I’m grateful that I’m in a position to help young people achieve their dreams and reach their full potential”, Patrick captioned in a post released six months ago.

Hanna is a friend of Boris’ daughter Sophie. Before Hanna was sent to Mouratoglou academy, Sophie organized a fundraiser for her best friend’s journey to France.

Boris Kodjoe’s daughter Sophie is a close friend of Hanna
“My best friend Hanna has been given the opportunity to be a year away from home, fully immersed in The Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. She is an extremely talented, dedicated, and hardworking person who deserves this amazing once in a lifetime opportunity. With your contribution, Hanna will be able to support herself for the entire year that she is at the academy. No donation is too small!!”, Sophie wrote.
Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, which is known to produce top-notch talent, is giving right opportunities for youngsters to learn the nuances of the sport and also get feedback from Patrick himself.
