Serena Williams has been one of the most famous athletes on the planet for more than two decades. Over the years, she met a lot of people not only from the tennis realm but also from other sports as well as entertainment and business industries. In her long list of past dates, there are many prominent stars from diverse fields, and among them are two renowned basketball players.

Being a strong and beautiful woman, Williams added her name to the list of athletes who have contributed to a crossover between basketball and tennis.
Serena Williams dated basketball stars Amar’e Stoudemire and Corey Maggette
The tennis legend’s strong aura was a perfect match for the basketball star, Amar’e Stoudemire. They both dated each other for a few months in 2010 before deciding to part ways on good terms. Stoudemire was playing for Phoenix Suns at that point and the breakup did not affect his performance, as he became an All-Star that year.

Before Stoudemire, Williams dated Corey Maggette in 2003 for some time. He was seasoned professional, playing 14 seasons in the NBA and then went on to become an analyst for Fox Sports.
Williams’ present family life
The American tennis legend married the Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in 2017 and has a daughter with him. She lives a wholesome and happy family life, with Olympia, her four-year-old, as the center of her attention.

Williams, after winning 23 grand slam titles, considers her daughter her biggest achievement. She often plays tennis with her and enacts little games to entertain little Olympia.

Besides that, the legendary American player continues her business endeavors in various fields. She has entered the realm of fashion, business, and design successfully. Additionally, she has also invested in a women’s soccer club, Angel City FC, founded by actress Natalie Portman.
