In his recent tweet, Macci talked about the former World’s No.1, Serena Williams, and her time in junior development. Macci often tweets interesting stories about the Williams family. In this tweet, Macci motivated a lot of aspiring athletes with his words.

Macci was with Williams during the most crucial point in her career. It was the early days, and he sure trained the champ quite well. It is understandable that he still reminisces about his old glorious days. He is indeed a great supporter and an amazing guide.

Macci, until now, has given out almost every detail of how Williams became the star she is today. Undoubtedly, it was very intriguing for the fans to study their idol in such depth. This latest tweet describes how Serena was practicing her angles in those days.

His tweet says: “@serenawilliams hit More balls into the Net practicing Angles than any student I ever taught. That same little determined pit bull from Compton had the BEST angles off both wings with Quality that ever played the game.” He appreciated how Williams transitioned from the kid who could barely avoid hitting nets and how she became a legend who had control of both the wings in the court. 

The last portion of his tweet emphasized how progress is just around the corner. As per him: “JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT NOT JUNIOR FINAL DESTINATION.” Indeed, there are a few bad phases in life. However, it doesn’t mean we can’t overcome them and achieve our true potential. Serena has had an amazing career, and she is leaving behind an incredible legacy.

Will Serena make a return to tennis?

It is not entirely certain whether she has completely detached herself from the sport or not. She hasn’t made an official statement about her retirement. Although she has been away from the sport for quite some time now. However, she mentioned focusing on other things that are important and taking a breath away from tennis. 

Even in her losses, Williams stepped on the court as an indestructible force. Her time in tennis was beneficial not only for her but for the sport as well. She sets new marks every day, and that says a lot about her skills and mindset. Williams ruled tennis for quite a long time.
