Serena Williams Reveals Her Message Behind Inspiring Daughter Olympia and the Next Generation

23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, through her many unbelievable battles, revolutionized the stage for women athletes. At 39, the tennis queen continues to inspire the next generation of girls along with her three-year-old daughter Olympia.

The mother and daughter recently wrapped up their first fashion shoot together for the American shoe brand, Stuart Weitzman. Looking at their campaign, it isn’t at all hard to consider them the most adorable mother-daughter pair.

The American professional also appeared in a virtual conversation with the Chief Marketing Officer of the company. Here, she revealed the message behind inspiring the next generation and Olympia.

Serena Williams has overcome numerous challenges on and off the court. Undoubtedly, she is one of the role models that every young girl can look up to without hesitance.

With a career that has already spanned more than two decades, the four-time Olympic Gold medallist continues to chase her dream. On inspiring girls, she said, “I really hope that I inspire Olympia and the next generation of girls to believe that anything is possible. Mostly, to believe in themselves and be strong.”

Additionally, she expressed how women inspire one another in more than one way. She said, “The idea that we inspire those younger than us is amazing,” Serena said. “But we also inspire each and every one of us in every single way and every step that we take every single day.”

Unfortunately, the 8-time Miami Open winner is not playing at this year’s Miami edition due to an oral surgery complication. However, she will look forward to competing in a tournament soon.
