American tennis legend Serena Williams is ready to enter the world of writers with her new book, “The Adventures of Qai Qai”. The book is receiving a lot of attention from children all around the globe. After retiring from tennis, the 23-time grand slam champion is now occupied with book promotion and spending time with her daughter.

Williams got the idea of writing a book during the pandemic when she was spending time with her daughter. The book has stories of an African-American girl and her family. The book is prepared to hit the shelves today, September 27.

When it comes to working hard for anything she wants, the former world number one has left no stone unturned. Williams surprised a young girl with‌ an early edition of her book, along with a few of the Qai Qai goodies.

She recently shared a video of a young girl receiving her book’s early edition. The book came in a beautiful pink box with two dolls as shown in the book, with a personal letter from the tennis legend herself, and the box had a mirror attached to it.

The note saying, “I am so excited to share this heartwarming and interesting story with you and your family. Olympia believes the book is her own story

While promoting her book on a television program, the former world number one claimed that her five-year-old thought the book’s characters were her family. Her daughter believes that the mom in the book is Serena Williams, and the dad is her father, Alexis Ohanian.

Although the 23-time Grand Slam champ wants to be honest with her daughter, she doesn’t want to ruin her concept and innocence over a book. She stated that her daughter reads the book thinking that when she grows up and reaches the age of seven, she will turn out like the main character.
