It was not only he who made his way through into this sport, but he also started creating a way for his daughter to have something that you can look up to in the future, something that her father left behind for her, because of which she became the youngest owner of not only a soccer team but also a golf team.

The 40-year-old American entrepreneur recently took to his Instagram account to share a little inside on why he decided to give his 6-year-old daughter the right to become the owner of two professional sports teams at such a young age. Along with that post, he wrote, “I want to build a legacy for my children.”

Just a few months ago, the Reddit co-founder talked about protecting his daughters, from all the spotlight they have been receiving.

Ohanian “wanted to shield” his daughters from the spotlight 

In light of the difficulties of growing up in the spotlight, Alexis Ohanian recently shared his attempts to make sure his kids have a strong sense of self-worth independent of their parents’ notoriety. Just a few months ago, the 40-year-old highlighted that he wants his kids to feel important for their own traits and accomplishments.

He stated, “The thing I know I wanted to shield them from was this idea that they are special just because of who their parents are. They are special, but for other reasons. Reasons of their own accounting and agency… This is one of those, ‘You’ve got to wait. Check back in 20 years’ things, but we’re trying.” Not only that, he clearly stated that he wants to protect them from the idea that their value comes only from their celebrity ancestry.
