According to The Sun, her lawyer, only known as Lawrence, filed a motion to withdraw their name and even talked about the attorney’s charging lien.

This happens when the client does not pay the fees to their lawyers, so the lawyer can acquire an interest in the court’s judgment to reclaim the money they have owed throughout the fight. However, she is not the first one to leave Williams’ stepmother out; before this lawyer, her original attorney, Richard Wolfe, withdrew his name, sighting “irreconcilable differences.”
