Fans are already missing Serena Williams on the court. After her retirement, the 41-year-old has given multiple indications of coming out from retirement. However, a recent video that Serena shared on her TikTok account pretty much confirmed her decision.

The former world number one recently shared a video after visiting her father, Richard Williams. Here, the 23-time Grand Slam champion also revealed what her father asked her.

The reason why Serena won’t start hitting again

Serena Williams is in a tough phase of her life. For any athlete, the period next to their retirement from a sport is very difficult. Since the time she remembers, the American has spent time playing tennis and enhancing her skills. Later, after her professional debut, it became a major part of her life.

However, after retirement, Serena is still not over tennis. Recently, the 41-year-old shared a video on her TikTok account. It’s from her recent visit to her father, Richard Williams. While we can hear Venus Williams practicing in the background, Serena tells that her father asked if she still hits. Here’s what she said in response.

“My dad asked me if I ever hit. And I said no because you know when I hit I wanna be back out on tour and you know when I’m on tour I like to win,” Serena said before signing off.

In the video’s caption, she wrote, “I play tennis a little bit… but I have to be careful not to do too much… Also I spyyyyyy someone in the background.”

While Serena is missing tennis, her fans are missing her too. It will be interesting to see if Serena changes her mind and gets back on the court.

In the past few months, Serena Williams has time and again expressed her desire to play tennis again. The 41-year-old first hinted about it on The Tonight Show. Later, the 41-year-old also said that she isn’t retired at an event in San Francisco.

Although we can not predict accurately what’s going on in her mind, the above video surely confirms that Serena is missing tennis. We can only wait and see if she decides to make a comeback.
