Coco Gauff, the tennis sensation, is a perfect blend of a person who values family while making the most of her talent. The 19-year-old tennis player shares a very close bond with her mother and father. Her parents were Coco Gauff‘s biggest cheerleaders as she won her first Grand Slam championship at the US Open. Thus, she has never missed a chance to thank her parents for helping her get where she is today. But this time, the story is a little different.

Coco Gauff’s mother’s special daughter’s day wish

Recently, on the occasion of Daughter’s Day, the 2023 US Open champion’s mother took to her Instagram account to make a special wish for her daughter. Unsurprisingly, it showed her appreciation for Coco as she recently created history by winning her first Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows.

While it has been almost a month since the glorious victory, the young tennis sensation’s parents are still not over it. To celebrate the special occasion, Candi looked back at the moment when she won her first title. Along with that, she wrote, “Happy National Daughter’s Day!” In the picture, Gauff was seen standing in front of the winner’s board, holding the US Open trophy and her name engraved on the wall as a champion. It wouldn’t be inaccurate to state that a parent’s finest moment comes when their children begin to accomplish the goals they have worked so hard to achieve.

Subsequently, the 19-year-old tennis star in no time commented on her mother’s heartwarming wishes as she replied with a “thank you” followed by a series of red hearts. The mother-daughter duo hardly ever shies away from sharing their affection publicly. A few weeks ago, the Grand Slam champion displayed her doting daughter’s side, when she did something special for her mother following her WTA victory in Washington.

When Coco Gauff took her mother out on a brunch date

When the third-ranked tennis player won the first-round match at the Citi Open a month ago, the first thing she did after the competition was to take her mother out for brunch. On her Instagram page, she posted a photo of her and her mother from the restaurant with the caption, “Brunch with Candi Gauff.”

The pair headed to a quaint cafe called ‘Busboys and Poets’, where they thoroughly enjoyed their mother-daughter time. Since childhood, it’s her parents who helped her reach such heights, and even today, they are her pillar of support both on and off the tennis court. Thus, when she won her maiden Grand Slam title, the teenage tennis sensation shared that life-changing occasion with her parents, who had always shown trust in her through thick and thin.
