The four-time Grand Slam champion has cemented her position as the dominant force on the tennis court with her amazing skills and personality in dealing with things both on and off the court. Recently, Serena Williams’ former coach praised Swiatek’s personality by drawing similarities with the 22-time Grand Slam champion, Graf.
Appearing in the Talking Tennis YouTube channel, Stubbs opened up about the WTA Finals, Swiatek’s dominance and the issues currently plaguing the WTA. Talking about the Polish star, she said, “I think the person that she reminds me the most of as far as intensity and also personality is Steffi Graf. I just think she has that she’s very shy, very low-key, very much like Steffi, but then gets on the court and she becomes an animal.”
In addition, she highlighted how both of them have a lot of passion when it comes to tennis, but at the same time, they are totally different off the court. Nevertheless, if you have ever seen both stars play on the court, you would definitely agree with the similarities drawn by the former Australian tennis player.
Prior to the WTA Finals, the current world number one displayed a different personality, breaking out of her introverted character. Let’s take a look at how the introverted Swiatek grabbed everyone’s attention.
