Recently, in an interview, Enrique shared how it has been more than two decades years since they both got together and it is everything he ever wanted.

In the tennis forum, it was revealed how Anna Kournikova and Serena Williams played a charity match in 1999 that was organized by a private exhibitor. It was organized in Los Angeles and it was played in front of a crowd of only 500 select people in an unspecified court in Los Angeles. In the match, Kournikova cruised to victory against the much-fancied Serena Williams. Kournikova beat Serena in straight sets of 6-2, 6-0, playing some amazing backhand slices and drop shots.

It prompted many fans to show their appreciation for the Russian tennis star, who was expected to challenge the best in the WTA Tour. Many fans thought that it was a genuine possibility that if Kournikova had not gotten out of tennis, she would have been the number 1 and Williams would not have been able to win as many Grand Slams as she did.

Enrique Iglesias shares how life has been with Kournikova and their kids

Enrique shared, in the October edition of People, how he met Kournikova when they were shooting for one of his albums named ‘Escape’ in 2001. He mentioned that the video changed his life while also adding how he has grown, along with his tennis star partner, in their 21 years of relationship.

They have 3 beautiful kids now. He said, “When we met — although she came from the sports world — in a way, we kind of got each other. She knew what my world was like. I kind of knew what her world was like. So that understanding helped a lot.” He also shared that he is really proud of the life they have shared together and looks forward to the good times with his family.
