In the match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich, the American star seemed upset that her attempt at a 24th Grand Slam had been cut short so suddenly. Her countless fans since then have been waiting with bated breath for the superstar to return to court but for the longest time, Serena had been cryptic about her comeback plans.
However, in a recent Bitcoin conference, Serena said she would be aiming for the Wimbledon to make her return to tennis. The larger tennis fraternity received this news with great enthusiasm.

Recently, Venus and Serena’s childhood coach Rick Macci dropped a rather cryptic tweet while praising the 23-time Grand Slam champion. Macci has been Serena and Venus’ coach when they were upcoming players, and he along with Richard Williams was instrumental in shaping what would be two extraordinary careers in tennis.
Macci’s tweet sparked a round of curiosity from Williams’ fans as to whether she will be working with her ex-coach once again or not. Macci has been monumental for the careers of several top tennis stars like Jennifer Capriati, Andy Roddick, the William sisters themselves, and Maria Sharapova.

If Rick Macci indeed decides to collaborate with Serena, the chances of great success for both of them will be extremely high. It might be slightly difficult for Serena to return to the tour right away, given how long she has been out of the circuit.
