The American tennis legend, Serena Williams has an impressive fashion sense. Both on the court, where she donned sportswear, and also off the court, in chic and stunning dresses. Now that she has left the tennis scene, the former player is rarely seen wearing any fitness gear. But recently, some six months after announcing her retirement, the tennis legend was spotted playing tennis while dressed in a sporty outfit. Tennis fans, moreover, were thrilled to see the former world number one in her on-court gear once more.

It is difficult to do justice to  Serena Williams’ legacy without acknowledging her influence on fashion. Already five years into her tennis career, Williams attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale to study fashion design. Later, the former world number one would go ahead and launch her own brand, S by Serena, started by the Serena Williams Design Crew, an apprenticeship program for people of color.

Serena Williams’ new fit leaves fans mesmerized

The 23-time Grand Slam champion’s most recent fitness-related photos have stunned the tennis world. Recently a fan of Williams took to Twitter to repost pictures of Williams’ outfit. In the shared pictures, the 41-year-old is seen holding a racket in a hand while seemingly having a focused look on her face as she practices tennis. Along with that, the fan wrote, “this woman actually needs to stop testing me.”

In the photo, Williams is donning a sleek pink “dri-fit” top paired with dark blue tights. She sports timeless black and white sneakers, red bands around the wrist, and a fluorescent green cap, all from the sportswear brand, Nike. Some of her fans subsequently questioned whether the former world number one was unknowingly hinting at a comeback with those pictures.

In addition to the Nike fit, the 41-year-old’s accessories were also striking. The vibrant red wristbands coupled with the cap added a contrast of color to the already eye-popping ensemble. Serena Williams’ keen eye for detail in her fashion demonstrates her commitment to both style and performance.
