She said, “My little sister Serena told me I’m not allowed to quit and of course I would never quit but it’s a mandate! She said no, so I will be back on the court.”

Venus Williams reveals her plans for the upcoming season

Besides narrating the incident where Serena motivated her to make a comeback, Venus Williams also talked about the plans she holds for this season. Acknowledging the long break that she has been on, the 43-year-old said, “I have not played since 2019 due to injuries. It’s a long time.”

Revealing her targets for the 2024 season, she added, “One of my big goals is to play in the United States to play in Miami open to play Indian walls.” As the tennis star revealed her desire to play the home major event, the excitement of the fans currently has no limits to hold.
