“She’s Back!”- American Tennis Stars Sloane Stephens and Coco Gauff Can’t Hold Their Excitement as Rihanna Returns After 6 Years

Coco Gauff is among the most exciting up-and-comers in the tennis world. She first made headlines when she beat Venus Williams in the first round of Wimbledon 2019. Ever since then, Gauff has been consistently successful. 

Aside from tennis, she is a music aficionado with a wide range of interests. It’s also worth noting that two of the three women Gauff looks up to are music artists: Rihanna and Beyoncé. Earlier, American tennis stars Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens were jubilant as singer Rihanna returned to the spotlight after a six-year gap.

Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens excited about Rihanna’s comeback

Singer Rihanna is back with a new song called ‘Lift Me Up’. The song is to promote the next Marvel movie, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. As a result, her fans worldwide are going crazy and are very excited about her long-awaited return.

Similarly, tennis stars Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens were also excited about Rihanna’s return. They both took to Instagram and posted stories in relation to the singer’s comeback. Sloane Stephens posted a 14-second clip saying, “She’s back”. Coco Gauff, on the other end, posted the same clip without any caption.

Talking about the music video, it’s a tribute to the actor Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa in the first ‘Black Panther’ film. The song is composed by ‘Black Panther’ director Ryan Coogler, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Gransson, and Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems.

Sloane Stephens recently took to Twitter and congratulated Gauff

The 37th-ranked Sloane Stephens, who recently lost in the quarterfinals of the Guadalajara Open Akron, had earlier advanced into the quarterfinals of the French Open 2022 by beating Swiss opponent Jil Teichmann. However, she lost to Gauff in the quarterfinals. Despite being eliminated from the tournament, the 29-year-old tweeted her full support for her countrywoman.
