Announcing a skip from the 2022 Wimbledon Championship, Venus recently visited the Blue Diamond Gala. A fund-raising event hosted by the charity foundation of baseless giants, Los Angeles Dodgers. While the event had a who’s who from different walks of life, the major highlight of the event remained an exclusive concert by Jennifer Lopez.

Venus Williams is fangirling over Jennifer Lopez

Having touched the mark of a living legend in tennis, Venus is now a regular participant in major social events. Taking time off from her training, Venus flew to Los Angeles to attend the event. Walking on the red carpet in a black dress and straight hair, the ever-gracious Williams opened up about her love for Lopez.

Fangirling over Lopex, the 7-time Grand Slam champion recalled Lopez’s performance with Sharkia at the 2020 Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show. “I was at the Superbowl when she performed with Shakira, and I was blown away. I remember just not wanting that to end. So, I think she has got more for us tonight,” she said.
