In an old tweet, Andy Roddick had shared his list of the greatest tennis players. Chris Evert, after glancing at this list, innocently misinterpreted her name at the top and jokingly played along with that on Twitter.

Former world no.1 Andy Roddick once shared a list of the greatest tennis players during his interview with the Tennis Channel. The list was in no particular order. However, Evert tweeted as if she misinterpreted her name to be on the top of the list. In the same tweet, she jokingly expressed her disappointment, as the list was written in alphabetical order.

She tweeted, Thank you, @andyroddick for choosing me as the greatest of all time… ahead of Roger, ahead of Serena… Finally, someone got it right! Ohhhhh, it’s alphabetical orderrrrrr… ohhhh! Shucks..”

Undoubtedly, Chris Evert is one of the greatest tennis players of all time. She won 18 grand slam titles during her glorious career, the same as her arch-rival, Martina Navratilova.

Despite being the greatest rivals, both players complimented each other’s growth. The arrival of Navratilova pushed Evert to do better, and the former did her best to counter her rival’s unique playing style. They met each other an astonishing 80 times on different surfaces, mostly in the latter stages of the tournaments.
