Tennis legends have dropped their heartwarming reactions in support of Simona Halep.  The Romanian tennis star was suspended from playing any professional tennis tournaments after a prohibited substance was found in her blood through a drug test. After the Tennis Integrity Agency’s ban on Simona Halep, her professional tennis career went downward, depressing her fans. However, this Romanian tennis star didn’t sit back but fought for her rights over these months.

After much controversy and struggle, Simona Halep’s case is seeing the first ray of positive sunshine. On this occasion, legendary tennis stars and famous coaches conveyed their best wishes for Halep as she will return to the court very soon.

Famous tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg shared a photo that announced that the two-time Grand Slam winner finally received her clearance to return to the professional tennis championships immediately. Halep, who was about to face a suspension of four years, received a lift in her suspension within nine months.

Sharing this news, Rothenberg wrote- “BREAKING: Court of Arbitration for Sport dramatically reduced Simona Halep’s penalty from her positive test for roxadustat in 2022, from *two four-year bans* to just a post-dated *nine months*, meaning she is eligible to play. Unlike ITIA, CAS bought the contamination argument.”

Soon after this news was circulated on X (formerly Twitter), Czech-American tennis legend Martina Navratilova showed her support for the Romanian tennis star as the former legend dropped clapping emojis in favor of Halep’s long struggle.

Not just Navratilova but Halep’s ex-coach, Darren Cahill came forward to wish Halep a very “Good morning!!!” after hearing this news.

Then there was Boris Becker, who congratulated the Romanian tennis player and said- “Yesssss Simo !!! Well deserved.”

 Fans also spotted legendary Bille Jean King expressing happiness over Halep’s ban lift-“This is great news. Very happy for @Simona_Halep.”

Previously, when Halep was fighting for her rights during CAS trials, many came forward in her support. However, the Swiss legend Federer didn’t seem too approving of Halep’s case.

Halep said- “This ordeal has been a testament to resilience, The triumph of truth is a bittersweet vindication that, albeit delayed, is immensely gratifying.” After her continuous struggle, this verdict surely came as a victory for this Romanian tennis star.
