Having served the ban from the sport in 2022, Halep’s ban was over technically in June 2023. That being said, she is now eligible to return to the tennis court with immediate effect. In a video shared a few months ago, Simona Halep’s former coach Patrick Mouratoglou suggested that he was the one who brought the collagen that got Halep into trouble. While he was completely unaware, he felt that he was responsible for whatever happened to her.
