Although the sisters stayed in the limelight mainly due to their on-court performances during their initial years on the Tour, Serena caught the eye of the public for her off-court activities as well. In her Instagram story, Venus offered her fans a glimpse of her love for Netflix’s reality TV series ‘Love Is Blind’. It’s a dating reality show that pairs fifteen single men and fifteen single women living in the same city. The men and women date each other in pods where they can talk to and hear each other. However, the pods prevent them from seeing each other, which makes the dates fascinating.

Participants of the show have the option of extending marriage proposals. They can see their respective dates only if they accept the proposals. Following this, the couples can spend some quality time together and decide whether they want to truly tie the knot.

Venus tagged the show’s official Insta handle in her post and asked fans, “Why is @loveisblind making me so nervous”. In the post, the clip of the reality show featured a participant saying “I do” at the wedding altar.

Settling down with a partner is proving to be difficult for Venus

Venus Williams dated Hank Kuehne from 2007 until 2010. The American pro golfer was an unwavering source of support for the tennis ace during their relationship. Following her breakup with Kuehne, Venus stayed single for 2 years.

2012 saw Venus enter into a relationship with Elio Pis, a Cuban model. The two met after Venus’ clothing line hired Pis to model for its underwear range. The couple’s relationship lasted until 2015.

After staying single for another 2 years, Venus started dating Nicholas Hammond, a publishing heir. However, the relationship came to an abrupt end in 2019. Since then, Venus has remained single, or she has kept her personal life hidden from the eyes of the world. Although there were rumors of her dating fellow American tennis star, Reilly Opelka, nothing concrete has been revealed by both parties.
