Right now, the player is gearing up for the hard court season. Gauff is currently participating in the Silicon Valley Classic tour. She is trying to learn a tweener imitating the signature shot of Roger Federer and Nick Kyrgios.

The American player is practicing for the ongoing tour at San Jose. During her practice, the player attempted a successful tweener. It is a difficult shot to make during the make as the player hits the ball between his or her legs. Gauff uploaded a video of it on her Instagram story. She stated, “slowly but surely learning how to do a tweener lol.”

The player will face the Ukrainian tennis player Anhelina Kalinina in the second round of the tour in San Jose, California.
