“Soul Sisters”: Venus Williams Dresses Herself Like the Doppelganger of Serena Williams

Venus and Serena Williams are the power sisters on the WTA tour. The two American players have been phenomenal on the court and have won many laurels in their career together. Even though both of them are not playing at the US Open 2021, they seem quite active on their social media handles.
In a recent Instagram post, Venus Williams updated a mesmerizing picture. On the left side, one can see the beautiful Serena Williams and on the right, an-ever glowing Venus Williams. She even called her and Serena as the soul sisters in the picture.

“Soul sisters. Seriously. I thought this picture of me (on the right) looked more like Serena Williams doppelgänger!” wrote Venus in the Instagram caption of the post.
Interestingly, Venus was just looking like the carbon copy of Serena. It is because of this reason that she wrote that it is as if she was dressed like the doppelgänger of the 23-time Grand Slam champion.

Serena Williams in the 2021 tennis season
Serena began the season on a high note as she played some incredible tennis at the Australian Open 2021. Even though she lost in the semis, she caused some really big upsets at the Grand Slam.

The clay-court season proved to be a nightmare for the 39-year-old. She really struggled playing on the surface and lost in the first round of the Italian Open 2021. Although she reached the pre-quarters of the French Open 2021, Elina Rybakina thrashed her in straight sets there.

Serena then returned to the court at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. However, she injured her leg in the very first match and couldn’t complete a single set there. Surprisingly, she hasn’t returned to the court since then and missed the US Open 2021 due to a hamstring injury.
