The legendary American responded to a fan question on her Instagram story. Venus was asked, “Can you win if you are only defensive and not attacking?”

To this, she replied, “I would say you can win a lot of matches, but you won’t win the big matches. Someone else is gonna step up and take it while you are defending. So, if you wanna go big, you have to step a foot forward and attack. It’s the only way.”
