Coco Gauff’s father was confident of her game

During their conversation, they talked about various subjects – from her chances at the Paris Olympics to her off-court activities. Additionally, Gauff’s father also described the expectations he had from his daughter.

Corey Gauff said, “We knew that she would be a good tennis player. She was working really hard. Did we know that they would embrace her in the world like they are? No, we had no clue.”

Gauff and her parents not only have a great parent-child relationship but also consider themselves as close friends. They can be often seen cheering her at the tournaments. The American sensation had a humble upbringing and once described the values she received from her father.
