Fernandez took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from her night out where she supported the initiative, but at the same time, she went with a statement look. She wrote, “Who says you can’t serve looks and aces? Honored to be celebrating the opening of #WomenDressingWomen.”

Undeniably, in an all-black dress, the 21-year-old tennis star looked stunning, with her hair tied up in the back. Not only that, but she also shared some beautiful captures from the museum. In addition, she completed her winter look with a black coat complementing her outfit at its best.

Even though she is also well-known for her tennis court-style choices, she gained a lot of notice earlier this year for her shoe selection. Not only did she adopt a different aesthetic, but she also overlooked Roger Federer’s shoe line.

Leylah Fernandez went for a non-tennis shoe brand

Since 2021, the Canadian tennis player has been a part of Federer’s business reality, which is the ‘On Running’ brand. But earlier this year at the US Open, things looked a little different, as Fernandez went for a totally different shoe, creating chaos in the tennis world.

She broke away from the 20-time Grand Slam champion’s renowned ‘On Running’ brand and went for Puma’s Stewie 2 basketball shoes. The collection was designed in honor of the WNBA legend Breanna Stewart and had vibrant colors like water, earth, and fire. The 21-year-old chose the Aqua blue-white version for her on-court performance, but what intrigued her fans is that they are basketball shoes that share a similar resemblance to tennis footwear.

Nevertheless, what are your thoughts on Leylah Fernandez’s fearless fashion both on and off the tennis court? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
