The American tennis legend, Serena Williams, showed the world that when it comes to women, everything and anything is possible. She is not only a tennis icon; she also serves as an example for many other women who are out there battling their own battles. The former WTA queen has left the tennis court, but that doesn’t mean her thoughts on women and empowering women have changed.
As all know, Williams is pregnant with her second child, and a lot of things around her are changing. The 23-time Grand Slam winner made a strong point as she inspired pregnant women across the globe with a 3-word message as her fitness routine went viral.

Serena Williams inspires pregnant women
The former world number one tennis player has always proved that she is the ultimate champion in all walks of life both on and off the tennis court. Even after retiring from the Tennis circuit, she is still a fierce advocate for gender equality. And has been open about how pregnancy is a beautiful phase for women to enjoy and not to stop their life.
Recently, the official Instagram account of Opera Daily, a magazine that was founded by popular talk show host Oprah Winfrey, shared a video of the American tennis legend’s workout routine, while proudly displaying her baby bump.
The workout routine video is inspiring a lot of pregnant women, as it’s going viral on social media. In that video, the caption talked about how the 41-year-old American tennis legend proves that “Women can do anything.” Nevertheless, seeing that video, Williams in no time shared her take on what she believes women are capable of doing. She commented, “Yeah, you can !”

Well, after breaking the rules on the tennis court, she is now regulating the norms as a pregnant woman and a mother. Even though she is getting closer to her due date, she is still following her workout routine and taking care of her own body.

Not only that, even after setting an example on the tennis court, but on the business front, too. The American tennis legend has backed up women leading startups, trying to take a step towards changing the world in a bigger picture.
Williams has supported other female-owned businesses
Regardless of her gender, the 23-time Grand Slam champion has always been a formidable opponent. And last year, just before retiring, the American tennis legend made a significant advancement for female entrepreneurs by working with her venture capital firm. Despite having invested in many different firms, she is determined to support women-owned enterprises to ease the strain they face.

Serena Ventures last year invested in Parfait, a female-led firm that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to customize wigs. The venture firm of the American tennis great led a seed round in which the company got $5 million. Nonetheless, Parfait is merely another excellent addition to Serena’s Ventures’ portfolio. Notably, given that she is willing to invest money to promote women’s aspirations in entrepreneurship.
