‘Superhero’ Serena Williams’ Quirky and Controversial Outfits Over the Years Leave Die-Hard Fans in the Dark Over Which One Is Underrated

The American tennis legend, Serena Williams’ Grand Slam apparel was always a hot topic of conversation, in addition to her on-court accomplishments. Furthering the discussion on similar lines, some Grand Slam outfits made it all the way to be part of ‘Queen of The Court’s’ crowning, while others were unable to do so. Witnessing Serena battle it out in these prestige-worthy tournaments over the years, tennis fans placed their bets on which outfits were deserving of a Grand Slam title shot.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion played tennis professionally for almost 20 years. Along with her excellent tennis skills, she made a point of displaying her wonderful and distinctive fashion sense both on and off the court.

Tennis fans pick which Serena Williams outfit should have won a Grand Slam 

Recently, a tennis fan shared a pole on his Twitter account. In that poll, he shared 4 pictures of Serena Williams from different Grand Slam tournaments. Along with that, a question was asked, “Which kit deserved a trophy shot?” If you are a tennis fan or a William fan, you are definitely aware of those outfits.

The first was the well-known Australian Open outfit from 2021 that the 41-year-old American tennis legend donned as a tribute to Flo-Jo, a renowned American track and field athlete. She created this ensemble for the first round of the competition but ultimately was unable to advance. For the second one, she wore the well-known and contentious catsuit from the 2018 French Open when she competed in the Grand Slam event after making a comeback from childbirth.

In the third picture, the 23-time Grand Slam champion wore the yellow crop top and skirt outfit at the 2016 Australian Open. Finally, for the last one, the short bodysuit, the American tennis legend wore at the US Open 2019, wearing which she beat Maria Sharapova in just 59 minutes.

However, looking at those amazing outfits, tennis fans flooded the common section with their opinions and chose the outfit that they thought should be part of a victorious Grand Slam campaign.

Recently, almost a year after her retirement, the 41-year-old tennis legend took to her Instagram account to share a picture from her staying fit era. In that picture, Serena was seen wearing simple but elegant Nike gear, a pink “dri-fit” top,  paired with blue tights. Along with that, she completed her look by wearing classic black and white sneakers and a green cap.

Even though it was not a tournament outfit, but somewhere, seeing Williams in tennis attire made her fans’ hearts skip a beat, as they adored the tennis player’s sporty look.
