What are you saying is not cool? She was talking about how she didn't know how to curtsy and had to be coached.
Additionally, some explained the Duchess of Sussex’s side of the story. A fan wrote, “As I understood it Meghan was mocking herself as she had been given no advice on how to curtsy much like Liz Truss. The issue is stacked on two sides. One looking for any reason to make her look bad.”
Come on Chris! This clip is totally taken out of context. Meghan was being self-deprecating about her lack of curtsy skills, nothing disrespectful to the queen. Maybe it’s time, though, to retire the whole antiquated curtsy tradition. It’s 2022 after all
Here are some more comments that flooded the tennis legend’s comment section.
I felt the same way, but it wasn't as negative when you don't take it out of context where it def comes across as cynical.
It looked to me like she was laughing at herself.
Chris, Meghan was making fun of herself for an over exuberant curtesy when she met the Queen for the first time. Please don’t fall for the misrepresentation.
Chris, you should actually understand what you're reacting to before you ignorantly espouse silly assumptions that make you look foolish.
If you watch it in context you will know that she’s taking the piss out of herself.
