Serena Williams took the ‘ask me a question’ challenge

After an unfortunate incident at Wimbledon 2021, Serena Williams has decided to take a needful sabbatical from tennis. Consequently, this is resulting in Serena getting more involved from her social media handles. Williams has been posting pictures and tweeting a lot lately. Freshly, she took the ‘Ask me a question challenge’ from her Instagram account. Many fans across the world pinned their gripping questions for Serena Williams.

While one such question Serena received was “About Sharapova.” To this, the 23-time Grand Slam winner replied, “I got a chance to hang out with her at Met Gala. She’s fun, we talked, we clicked, we laughed. We talked about Tennis, it was really really fun and I loved it.”

Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, and Venus Williams met at Met Gala 2021 and even clicked some splendid pictures. As Serena mentioned, they cherished some great moments together.

After their meeting, when Venus was asked to speak about Sharapova, she said, “Serena and I were talking about Maria the day before. We were walking and ee were like, ‘Damn, I wish Maria was still playing.’

“And we saw her, and we both told her separately, ‘Oh my gosh, we were just talking about you yesterday, we wish you were still on tour.’

“We were so happy to see each other. There was hugs, there was laughing, there were stories, and there was a photo. So the backstory is that even though us players compete really hard of the court for years, we still respect and love each other, and love Maria.”

Cleary, the trio share a great bonding with each other and love to spend some quality time at events.
