Ohanian created the Seven Seven Six foundation to support start-ups and entrepreneurs in their nascent careers. Recently, his foundation collaborated with Aidaly, a caregiver foundation.

Alexis Ohanian’s company partnered with Aidaly for a great initiative

Earlier on Instagram, Ohanian shared a video where he had a virtual interaction with the CEO of the Aidaly, Maggie Norris. In that interview, she talked about using the latest technology and software to educate people about various caregiving programs.

In the caption of his Instagram post, Ohanian talked about his mom’s battle with cancer and the importance of caregivers. “My mom’s fight with terminal brain cancer in the early days of founding @Reddit taught me the importance of caregivers. I saw my dad step up into this role while also running his own small business. Most Americans aren’t so lucky: the emotional toll, out-of-pocket expenses, and the abysmal lack of paid family and medical leave in the US means too many family members are forced to choose between caregiving and a full-time job,” Ohanian wrote.

“@sevensevensix has led this seed round in @joinaidaly because we can clearly see the impact that fair compensation backed by technology will have for family caregivers & their loved ones,” he further said on Twitter.
