After her quarterfinal run in the US Open, she also made it to the quarterfinal of the San Diego Open and Guadalajara Open. With this, the 18-year-old became the youngest player since Maria Sharapova to qualify for the WTA Finals. Currently in Texas for the tournament, she also had a special look for Halloween.

Gauff took out some time from her busy schedule amidst the WTA Finals to celebrate Halloween. She dazzled in her spooky look of Raven from the popular American animated superhero television series Teen Titans. The 18-year-old took to her Instagram and posted stories and pictures of herself in the attire. “Raven from teen titans!” she wrote.

Later, the American also came up with an Instagram post sharing her close-up pictures in the costume and also had a picture of the animated character of Raven to explain the resemblance.

Gauff and Pegula lose their WTA Finals doubles opener
The Women’s doubles pair of American tennis stars Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff have done brilliantly this year. The duo got their reward for consistent performance and made it to the year-end WTA Finals. However, they crashed out after a shocking defeat against the Chinese duo of Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan.

In a thrilling encounter, The Chinese pair took the first set 6-4. However, Pegula and Gauff made a comeback and took the second set 6-4. The decider set was very competitive, but the Chinese pair edged out the Americans and took the set 10-7.
