Aryna Sabalenka is currently going through a terrible ordeal. She lost Konstantin Koltsov, her beau of 3 years on March 18th, 2024. Koltsov’s passing away shocked the world as it is currently declared to be suicide. Sabalenka’s recent message about Koltsov shows that the two had split before his death. However, some activity points to the fact that their split was even more recent than previously imagined.

Sabalenka and Koltsov’s family are in mourning and dealing with the proceedings of his funeral. His ex-wife recently revealed how the family was faring, which Saba mentioned in her message as well.

Koltsov shared a post for Women’s Day (March 8, 2024), which included several pictures of the Belarusian tennis star. Impressed Sabalenka left the comment, “Thank you, darling”. The comment on Koltsov’s reel gives a hint that their split was very recent considering the date.

Saba and Koltsov revealed their relationship to the public in 2021. While the two kept their relationship private, fans knew that they were going strong. Koltsov’s passing led to much support from fans. A day after the news was declared, Saba shared a note to talk about her state of mind. She wrote, “Konstantin’s death is an unthinkable tragedy, and while we were no longer together, my heart is broken. Please respect my privacy and his family’s privacy during this difficult time.”

Talking about Koltsov’s family, his ex-wife Julija Mihailova gave an interview where she talked about how her sons are faring with the loss of their father.

Koltsov’s death is officially being ruled as a suicide, and his family is in the works to ensure his proper funeral. Apart from handling these things, Mihailova is also struggling to tell about Koltsov’s death to her 5-year-old son, Stefan while the other two teenagers are tackling it in their way.

“It’s harder for the eldest sons, Daniel and Alexander; they understand everything well. They are 18 and 16 years old. The youngest, Stefan, is five years old. He thinks Dad is in paradise now. Stefan, however, asked how Dad died, but I haven’t answered him yet.”

Additionally, she also talked about the fact that they are collecting his remains to take some back to Belarus to make it his final resting place. Regardless of the proceedings, Koltsov’s passing was a tragedy which has shocked the world.
